Natural Treatment Questions, Answered Honestly
You have a list of doubts and you are not going to call anybody until they are answered. Fair enough. This is where the natural treatment questions get answered — hardest first, not the comfortable ones.
Are you doctors? No. Does the first consultation cost money? Yes, ₹500 registration plus a deposit. Will you tell me to stop my medicines? Never. Is there a refund? No. Can you cure my condition? No, and we will not claim to.

Those are the five that most people want settled before anything else. Everything below goes into detail, and the awkward ones are not buried at the bottom.
The hard natural treatment questions first
Are you doctors?
No. No MBBS, no BAMS, no BNYS. We are a wellness centre — naturopathy, yoga, dhyan, clinical nutrition and counselling. Our founder holds a PGDYT, naturopathy training and clinical nutritionist certification in both modern and Ayurvedic nutrition. Our team are experts in yoga, meditation, lifestyle and nutrition, with a psychologist and counsellor for the therapy work. We do not use medical titles, we do not prescribe medicine, and where you need a doctor we refer you to one. Answering this question openly is the basis for trusting anything else on this site.
Do I have to stop my medicines for naturopathy?
No, and this is our first standing rule: we never ask anyone to stop or reduce medication prescribed by a doctor. Not directly and not by hinting. If your reports eventually improve enough that a dose should change, that conversation belongs to you and your prescriber. Anyone in this field who tells you your medicine is blocking your healing is giving you dangerous advice.
Is naturopathy scientific, or not?
Partly, and the honest answer has two halves. The core levers we actually use — diet composition, physical activity, sleep, breathing practices and stress reduction — have a substantial published evidence base, and we can give you the mechanism for anything we recommend. Other claims made in the wider naturopathy world have weak evidence or none, and we do not make them: no detoxification, no cleansing, no cures, no disease treatment through energy work. If we cannot explain the mechanism, we do not recommend the thing.
Does it actually work?
For some things, substantially: insulin resistance and prediabetes, functional digestive problems, lifestyle-driven weight gain, posture-driven pain, sleep, stress physiology, recurrence. For others it cannot replace medical treatment at all: hypothyroidism, type 1 diabetes, infections, autoimmune disease and serious mental illness all need a doctor, and nothing here substitutes for that. What lifestyle work can still do in those cases is help with the symptoms that persist alongside correct treatment — the fatigue and weight that remain after thyroxine, for instance — which is a real and more modest claim. The useful outcome of a first consultation is often finding out which of the three your problem is, and where the answer is "you need a doctor", we say so and refer you rather than taking money for six sessions.
How much does it cost?
₹500 registration, which books your time slot. Then ₹1,000 deposit for a first consultation at the centre, or ₹500 online. Sessions after that are around ₹2,000 each, personalised to your plan. Sessions are 45 minutes; a first consultation may run up to an hour. Nothing else is sold to you — no supplements, powders, kits or products.
Is the first consultation free?
No. We state this on every page rather than in the small print, because discovering a cost after you have decided feels like a trick.
Is there a refund policy?
No. We do not have one. Please be sure before you register — we would much rather say this now than at cancellation.
Can you cure my condition?
No. We do not claim to cure anything, in any system. What we work on is the conditions that produced the problem, which for many chronic complaints is where the lasting change is. Any centre promising you a cure deserves more scrutiny than this page.
Will you give me medicine, churna or supplements?
No — none, of any system. Not allopathic, not Ayurvedic, not homeopathic, not herbal. No churna, no kadha, no tablets, no powders. We also sell no products at all, which removes a whole category of conflicted incentive: a practitioner who earns from supplements has a reason to find you deficient.
Why should I trust you?
Judge us on what we refuse to do rather than on what we promise. We have been doing this since 2022 and are rated 4.6 out of 5 on Google. We sell nothing. We refer early even when it costs us the booking. We publish the fee before you call. And we tell you on every service page what we cannot do. If that reads as less exciting than other sites you have open, that is deliberate.
Time, results and what to expect
How long does natural treatment take to work? Broadly: sleep and digestion often shift within two weeks; energy, anxiety and cravings over four to six weeks; blood reports — HbA1c, lipids, ferritin, vitamin D — over about three months; pain patterns over six to twelve weeks as strength and posture change. Every service page on this site carries its own honest timeline. Anyone quoting one number for every condition is guessing.
Kitna time lagta hai theek hone mein? Neend aur pachan — do hafte. Energy aur anxiety — ek se do mahine. Blood reports — teen mahine ke aas-paas. Purani pain — do se teen mahine. Ye slow hai, aur hum shuru mein hi bata dete hain. Jo log "ek hafte mein" ka vaada karte hain, unse sawaal poochhiye.
Is natural treatment slower than medicine? Yes, considerably. Medicine acts in hours; this acts over weeks. If you need relief today, medicine is the right tool today. The trade is that we are working on the cause, which is why the relief holds in a way that a repeat prescription does not.
How many sessions will I need? It depends on the condition, and we will give you an honest estimate at the first consultation rather than a package. Most people need follow-ups for two to three months at least. We do not sell blocks of ten sessions upfront.
What if it does not work for me? Then we tell you, and if there is a medical route we refer you to it. This happens, it is not hidden, and the honest-failure section of our reviews page is meant to reflect it.
Will I have to change my whole lifestyle? You will have to change something, daily — that is where the effect comes from. But plans here are built around your actual kitchen, your actual working hours and your actual household. A plan that needs you to cook separately or wake at 5am is one you will abandon in ten days, and we would rather not write one.
Natural treatment and safety
Is natural treatment safe with my existing medicines?
Generally yes, and this is partly because we give no medicines — so there is nothing to interact with your prescription. We ask for your full medication list precisely so that nothing we suggest conflicts with it. Where a food or practice could interact with something you take, we will tell you.
Naturopathy side effects — are there any?
Food, movement, breath and sleep work have very few direct side effects, but there are real risks we take seriously and name openly:
- Yoga can injure you if postures are wrong for your body. Acute disc problems, glaucoma, uncontrolled blood pressure, recent surgery, severe osteoporosis, vertigo and pregnancy all change what is safe, and some practices — kapalbhati and bhastrika in uncontrolled asthma, pregnancy or high blood pressure — we avoid entirely.
- Removing gluten before a coeliac test makes the test unreliable. Test first.
- Jala neti must only ever be done with boiled or distilled water, never tap water.
- Stopping alcohol abruptly in someone physically dependent can be life-threatening. This needs a doctor.
- Therapeutic fasting is unsuitable for diabetes on medication, pregnancy, underweight people and anyone with a history of disordered eating.
- The biggest risk in this whole field is delay — treating something at a wellness centre that needed a hospital. Which is why we refer early.
Is naturopathy safe during pregnancy?
Nutrition in pregnancy should be led by your obstetrician, and we will not override advice given to you in pregnancy. Prenatal yoga is safe and useful with your gynaecologist's written clearance, which we ask for and will not start without. Several practices are avoided entirely in pregnancy. Therapeutic fasting and detox protocols are not done in pregnancy at all.
Do you treat children?
Counselling for under-18s requires a parent's involvement and consent. Yoga and nutrition for children are available with a parent present. We do not put minors on weight-loss plans.
What if I need a doctor?
We will tell you — usually in the first consultation — and refer you. For an emergency, go to a hospital rather than contacting us.
What is NOT suitable for a wellness centre?
Chest pain, breathlessness, severe bleeding, collapse, seizures, confusion, stroke symptoms, a severe asthma attack, very high or low blood sugar, acute psychiatric illness, alcohol or drug withdrawal, suspected fracture, and any sudden severe symptom. Go to a hospital. For mental health crisis support, Tele-MANAS is free, 24×7, on 14416.
How it works, practically
How do I book an appointment? WhatsApp, call, or fill in the enquiry form. We reply with available slots and the full fee breakdown in one message. ₹500 registration confirms and holds your time slot. See contact us.
Can I just walk in? Consultations are by appointment, which also means there is no open waiting room — something that matters to many of the people who come here.
Can I consult online? Yes, in Hindi or English, with the same 45-minute consultation, the same written plan and the same follow-up. Online first-consultation deposit is ₹500 instead of ₹1,000. Our in-person focus is Jaipur and nearby cities; online works anywhere.
What should I bring to my first consultation? Any reports from the last six months — thyroid profile, HbA1c or fasting sugar, lipid profile, CBC, vitamin D, B12, ferritin, liver and kidney function. A list of your current medication with doses. And a rough account of what you have actually been eating, including the chai and the biscuit. If you have no reports, come anyway and we will tell you which few are worth getting.
How long is a session? 45 minutes. A first consultation may run up to an hour.
What languages do you work in? Hindi and English.
Is a female practitioner available? Yes — a female psychologist and counsellor for online consultation, and a female yoga teacher at the centre, online and for home visits. Please mention it when you book.
Where are you? Narayan Vihar, Mansarovar, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Our Google Business Profile is claimed and verified. See contact us.
What are your timings? Mon–Sat, 9am–7pm at the centre; online consultation all days.
Privacy and confidentiality
Is what I tell you confidential?
Yes. Nothing is shared with family, employers, relatives or anyone else. The single exception is an immediate risk to someone's life.
Can I enquire without giving my name?
Yes. Ask whatever you want on WhatsApp first.
Will anyone see me at the centre?
Consultations are by appointment, so there is no row of people waiting. If being seen is a concern — and for sexual health, addiction and mental health enquiries it very often is — online consultation removes the issue entirely.
Do you tell the family what was said in a session?
No. Individual sessions are confidential, including from the family member who booked them. Family sessions are separate, and what crosses between them is agreed with the person first. The exception, again, is immediate risk to life.
Do you publish patient names or reviews?
Only with written consent, and only to the extent the person allows. For sexual health, addiction, mental health and women's health we default to full anonymity. See reviews.
About the Manorath Wellness centre in Jaipur
Who runs Manorath Wellness?
Founded by Priyank Dadhich — PGDYT, naturopathy training, clinical nutritionist certified in modern and Ayurvedic nutrition. The centre works with a separate team: a psychologist and counsellor (female professional available), yoga teachers including prenatal and senior-specialist teaching, and meditation and breathwork practitioners. See about us.
How long have you been running?
Since 2022 — more than 4 years of solution-oriented work, at the centre in Jaipur and online.
Why don't you show all your team members' names?
For privacy and security reasons, particularly for practitioners working on sexual health, addiction and mental health. You are told who you will be seeing, with their qualification, before your consultation.
Do you have a Google Business Profile?
Yes — claimed and verified, and rated 4.6 out of 5. Open it in Google Maps or read our reviews.
Do you do NLP or life coaching?
Not here. Manorath Wellness is about wellness, naturopathy, yoga, nutrition and counselling. That other work exists separately and is not part of what this centre offers.
